# Q&A with Arely Loya, Technical Recruiter

**Q: What excites you the most about working at a company like Apex?**
Working alongside intelligent and motivated people that are all striving towards a common goal. It’s amazing to see people come together like this. There’s a lot of impact day to day.

**Q: Why are you excited about space?**
Who isn’t excited about space? I’ll quote Captain Kirk here as I think he put it best. “Space, the final frontier - to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.’

**Q: You are somewhat new here at Apex. What has surprised you the most so far?**
How easy it’s been to fit into the existing team and welcome new team members, literally every week!

**Q: Tell us a bit about what you do in your free time.**
I read a lot! I also love pilates, dancing, making art, long walks, and being a major foodie.
